Is It Easy to Install a Curt Venturer Brake Controller in a 2011 GMC Acadia with Plug In Adapter
Question:
Hello... I am looking at the C74VV-C51422 brake controller for my 2011 GMC Acadia... can I install this myself or does it require a certified mechanic... I am fairly mechanically inclined. It appears to be plug and play? My Acadia has factory tow package. Thanks much for the help.

Installation for the Curt Venturer Trailer Brake Controller # C74VV in your 2011 GMC Acadia with the Curt Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers # C51422 would be very easy. You could definitely do it yourself.
It would basically be you plugging the # C51422 into the back of the # C74VV and then plugging the other end to the port located underneath the dash, to the left of the steering column, taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal.
From there you would just mount the controller on the lower portion of your dash and you would be good to go.
