Trailer Brake Controller Installation in 2014 Jeep Cherokee
Question:
I have a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. I want to install a trailer brake controller. Is there an installation manual for this vehicle? Does it require a specific adapter plug/cord? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

There is no quick-connect brake controller port under the dash on your 2014 Jeep Cherokee so the hard-wire installation steps will depend on whether or not it has a factory 7-way connector. A brake controller like the excellent Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885 will install either with a brake controller install kit # ETBC7 (if you do not have a factory 7-way) or wiring kit # 5506 if you do have the 7-way.
