Will the Thule OutWay Trunk Mount Bike Rack Fit a 2014 Ford Explorer Sport
Question:
Can I use the TH56BV on my 2014 Ford Explorer Sport. The owners manual says not to hang anything e.g., bike rack from the spoiler, glass of lift gate. I believe it fits but want to make sure. I just think I need to turn off the Auto lift gate.

The Thule OutWay trunk mount bike rack # TH56BV is listed as a fit for your 2014 Ford Explorer. However I cannot advise going against anything in the vehicle owners manual.
I recommend installing a trailer hitch, # C13386, and using a hitch mount bike rack such as Thule Camber 2 part # TH9058. This will actually cost less than the Raceway and you will have the added benefit of a trailer hitch that you could use for other accessories such as a cargo carrier or for towing should the need arise.
If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have to use these adapters and without them my wife's bike would be at a severe angle and I would not be able to load my son's bike at all. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
