Correct Tail Light Wires to Splice Into when Installing Trailer Wiring Harness on 2011 BMW 1-Series

Got the product, but no color chart for wiring. Tow Ready web site does not give the manual for the Modulite wiring kit. Wiring needs to be identified. Please provide info: running lights wire color, left and right turn signals, ....

Wiring harness # C59496 is a universal fit type of item that fits many vehicles. Also, there is no standard color code for wiring/function; vehicle manufacturers can use whatever color they want and it frequently changes from model year to model year, and even within the same model year for a given vehicle.

That is why there is a circuit tester included. You have to test the vehicle tail light wiring to determine function and then install the converter accordingly.
