Weather Resistant Cargo Bag Recommendation for a Pro Series Cargo Carrier part # 63153
Question:
How is the convenience of this net versus a cargo bag? Ive never used a cargo carrier before and were getting ready for a summer cross-country road trip. The weather should be nice and I figure well be fine putting suitcases under a tarp with a net. However, the waterproof bags look very nice as well. Just wondered how long it would take to tarp and net versus loading and securing a bag? I have the 60 x 24 Pro Series 2inch trailer hitch carrier that I ordered from you some months ago, on my 2013 Dodge Durango. Thanks,

Tarping and putting a cargo net on your cargo carrier with your suitcases would not be my first choice. There's no great way to do it, it would be time consuming, and at the end of the day it won't be water resistant and you run more of a risk of having the tarp catch the wind and come off.
I would go with a cargo bag, it would be much easier to use and would provide much better water resistance. For a bag that would fit perfectly on your Pro Series 60x24 inch cargo carrier # 63153 I would recommend the etrailer.com Extra Large Cargo Bag for Hitch Mounted Cargo Carriers # 988501. I attached a review video of this cargo bag being installed on your cargo carrier.
