Will Either the Swagman XC2 S64650 or Swagman XTC2 S64670 Clear the Spare on a 2002 Honda CRV and RV
Question:
We have two vehicles both with rear mounted spare tires. ONE IS A 2002 HONDA CRV the other is a 2006 Itasca Navion RV. Will these bike racks fit with these rear mounted spare tires?

The Swagman XC2 carrier, part # S64650 has more clearance than the Swagman XTC2, part # S64670. The S64650 measures 10-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the first hoop, where as the S64670 measures 9 inches.
The only way to tell is to take the measurement on your car. Take a yard stick or a dowel rod and lay it flat against the spare, straight up and down. Measure from the hitch pin hole to the yard stick. If it is 9 inches or less, both racks will clear the spare. If it is between 9 and 10-1/2 inches only the S64650 will clear the spare. If it is greater than 10-1/2, neither of the racks will clear the spare tires.
I have added links to videos reviewing both of these bike racks.
