Fit of Curt # C18151 and etrailer # e98874 Cargo Carriers on 2013 GMC Acadia

For the Folding models: Model # C18131 and Model # e98874, do these trailers work on a 2013 GMC Acadia Denali? Wed like to purchase one but we want to make sure it fits our vehicle. Thanks

The Curt # C18151 cargo carrier is the replacement for the C18131. The difference between part # C18151 and the etrailer part # e98874 is that # e98874 has a 2 inch rise in the shank.

The # e98874 cargo carrier will fit your Acadia just fine. You can confirm this by measuring the distance from your hitch pin hole to the furthest rearward point of your back bumper. If this distance is less than 9-1/2 inches (which it absolutely should be) the etrailer # e98874 cargo carrier would work great on your Acadia.

The smaller # C18151 has a slightly shorter shank. To use it on your Acadia, you'd need at least 6 inches of bumper clearance. I'll link you to an article that shows how to measure for the clearance you need.
