Roof Cargo Bag Recommendation For 2004 Hyundai Sonata With Naked Roof
Question:
My son is traveling from Philadelphia to Los Angelos and will need extra storage on the bare roof. Please advise the best product to get and any accessories for the trip. Thanks

You will want to check the owner's manual or with your dealership to find out what the roof weight capacity of your 2004 Hyundai Sonata is. You will not want to exceed the maximum roof weight capacity.
For a cargo bag I recommend the Rightline Gear Roof Cargo Carrier, part # RL100S20. This cargo bag is made of waterproof material, has 15 cu ft of room and features straps that will run through the Sonata's interior and around the carrier.
If you want to secure the bag to the rain gutters or door ledges on the vehicle, I recommend the Rightline Car Clips, part # RL100600.
To protect the car roof paint I recommend using a pad like part # RL100650.
