Trailer Hub Recommendation for a Trailer with Inner Bearing L68149 and Outer Bearing L44649
Question:
I would like to install a 84557UC3 hub on my trailer. Also need 84555UC1 for the idler hub. Inner bearing L68149 Outer bearing L44649 with 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern. I have 10.5inch wide fenders which can be moved to accommodate. The rims have a 5.0inch offset from front of wheel to where it mates with drum. Your site says it will work up to a 17.5inch wheel. Please let me know if this custom rim will work with these hubs. will this hub work with an 18x8.5 rim with 30 series tires?

Are the wheels you plan on installing on your trailer wheels that were specifically designed for trailer use? Wheels with that much offset are not usually found on trailers, especially in the diameter you have. Aside from that the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # 84557UC3 and the # 84555UC1 would work well since the bearing numbers match what you have as well as the bolt pattern.
Just so we're both on the same page, offset is the distance the centerline of the wheel is from portion of the wheel that mounts to the hub face. Zero offset means that the portion of the wheel that bolts to the hub is centered in the wheel to spread the trailer load evenly across the tire. A positive offset positions the wheel and tire combination closer to the trailer frame, and a negative offset positions the wheel and tire combination farther away form the trailer frame.
