Will the Ball Mount Adapter # BA-1 Work with the Curt Weight Distribution Shank # C17125
Question:
Im interested in purchasing the Curt Weight Distribution Shank - 14-1/2inch Drop - 10inch Length Code: C17125. Will the Ball Mount Adapter for Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Weight Distribution Shank Code: BA-1 work with this Distribution Shank for a 2inch Ball? If not can you recommend an adapter? Thank you

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Ball Mount Adapter, # BA-1, will work with the Curt Weight Distribution Shank, # C17125. Keep in mind that you always want to follow the weight limitations of the component with the lowest rating so even though the weight distribution shank has a gross towing weight capacity of 15,000 pounds, you will be limited by the weight capacity of the adapter which is 10,000 lbs for towing and 2000 lbs for tongue weight.
