Can Rear Door on 2008 Honda Odyssey be Opened with Loaded Trailer Hitch Mount Cargo Carrier
Question:
I have a Honda Odyssey 2008 and I was wondering how far out the basket goes so that it will clear the rear door when a cooler or plastic bins is in the rack.

Curt trailer hitch mount cargo carrier # C18110 measures 6-3/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the nearest edge of the carrier. And there is a rise in the shank of 3-3/4 inches. If you measures from the center of your hitch pin hole out 6-3/4 inches and then up 3-3/4 inches (measured from the top of the receiver opening) this is approximately where the nearest edge of the carrier floor will be.
If you can tell me if you have a 1-1/4 inch or 2 inch trailer hitch I can make some other recommendations if this carrier will not work for you.
