Ball Mount with 6 Inch Drop to be Used on 2010 Chevrolet Silverado
Question:
I need a 6inch hitch adapter that will allow me to lower my camper hitch. I have a 6inch lift in my truck and need a adapter to lower the camper hitch. It looks like your High Low Drop Hitch however those say they are not for trailer towing. I need a 10,000 pound capacity my camper weights between 8 and 9,000 pounds. Can you provide such a product? Thank you!

Curt offers the Heavy Duty Forged Ball Mount for 2 Inch Hitches, # C45342. This ball mount has a 5 inch rise and a 6 inch drop with a maximum gross trailer weight capacity of 17,000 pounds.
I do recommend taking a couple measurements before making your purchase. Making sure that the trailer is as level as possible while towing not only provides additional safety but also makes for a much better towing experience. I am including an article which gives the information on measuring for your ball mount. This will just give you the chance to double check that ball mount # C45342 has the correct drop for your 2010 Chevrolet Silverado.
If you still need a hitch ball you will want to use # A-90 for a 2 inch or # 19286 for a 2-5/16 inch.
