Cargo Carrier Recommendation for a Toyota Prius V 2013
Question:
I have a Curt Class one 1 1/14 hitch. We are traveling and want to use a tray to carry extra stuff. Is it ok to use an adapter ? for tray? my Curt tongue is rated at 200 lbs. Or is there a tray with a 1 1/4 inch I can use?

Any time you use a hitch adapter you end up cutting the capacity of the hitch in half so I would recommend you get a cargo carrier that is designed to work on 1-1/4 inch hitches like the 17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier # C18145. I attached a review video that shows this carrier being used on a similar Prius as yours.
Since you have a Curt hitch and Curt recommends the use of a stabilizer strap for any unsupported loads like a cargo carrier you will also need part # 18050. I attached a review video that shows how this product works as well.
