Brake Light Relay Recommendation for a 2014 Ford F150 Being Flat Towed
Question:
I do not want to cut into the factory wiring on my 2014 F150 w/Ecoboost. I went through the tests to see if I need a Brake LIght Relay and I do need one for this truck. Is it possible to wire the Brake Light Relay into the Wiring Harness HM56000 to avoid cutting into the factory wiring harness? If this cannot be done on this harness are there any other brake light wiring kits that would plug into the factory wiring harness and provide the brake light relay?

The only way I can safely recommend you install the Roadmaster Brake Light Relay part # RM-88400 in your 2014 Ford F150 is according to the installation instructions. Don't worry, if you follow the instructions and install the relay correctly your F150 would be just fine.
