Compatibility of Aftermarket Tow Hooks With Westin Grille Guard on Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD

Question:

I would like to get tow hooks that will fit into my westin grill guard and winch mount. After installing the grill guard the tow hooks that I have will not fit. I would also like to get a license plate mount that will move the plate so its visible in the front. I have a Chevy 3500 HD with the Westin grill guard and winch mount. Thank you.

Installation of a Westin Gille Guard/Winch Mount, such as their # 46-43610-23615 for example, that fits the 2012 Silverado 3500HD, requires removal of the factory tow hooks because these interfere with the mounting points for the guard. My contact at Westin advised that only very few vehicles can retain factory tow hooks once an aftermarket grille guard is installed.

We do offer aftermarket tow hooks, such as the Westin T-Max Universal Tow Hook # 46-3005. These mount onto the winch tray itself.

If you can tell me the model year of your Silverado 3500 HD and the part number for your Westin Grille Guard I can check for compatibility with these Westin tow hooks.
