Installing 7-Way and Brake Controller on 2001 GMC Sierra
Question:
I have a2001 gmc sierra all I have is 4 way in back of truck. how can I install a 7 way and a brake controller I see blue and red wire under hood but dont know how to connect

Expert Reply:
First step would be to choose a brake controller. I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2, part # 90885. You'll also need a 4 pole to 7-way adapter, part # 37185 and a brake controller install kit, part # ETBC7.
The brake controller would install under the dash, to the right of the steering column. A brake controller wiring adapter # 3025-P would also be needed.
