Replacement Electric Brake and Hub/Drum Assemblies for Use with Al-Ko 2800-lb Axle
Question:
Im interested in the 10inch Nev-R-Adjust Electric Brake Assembly for 3.5K Axles - code 23-469. I have Al-Ko axles stamped 2800 lbs. Will these brakes work? Will they fit? What is involved if I need to return anything? Additionally, I am interested in the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 3,500-lb Axles - 5 on 4-1/2 - E-Z Lube code AKHD-545-35-EZ-K. I know the bearing sizes match what I have on the current axles. I see lug nuts are included, but can I get plastic lug nut caps?

The Dexter 10-Inch Nev-R-Adjust Electric Brake Assembly for 3.5K Axles, parts # 23-469 (right) and # 23-468 (left) will work with a 2800-lb axle as long as it has the same 4-bolt mounting pattern (holes that are 2-7/8-inches apart on center).
The hub/drum assembly you referenced, etrailer # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K, will work with these brake assemblies and as long as the included bearings match your current ones they will fit your spindles.
We do offer lug nut caps but only for large dually wheels.
