Class III Trailer Hitch for a 2003 Ford Explorer 4-Door with Factory 1-1/4 Inch Hitch

Have a 2003 explorer xlt 4dr 4by4 with 1.5inch oem trailer hitch. Will #75096 fit in same place as oem hitch?it has 16inch full size spare tire.

Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 75096 will only fit 2 door models for the 2003 Ford Explorer. For your 4-door model use Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 75132. This hitch will fit under the factory hitch (which is likely welded on so it cannot be removed). I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.
To complete your towing set up I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It includes 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
And if you need to add trailer wiring you can use # 118344.
