Will the Same Trailer Hitch Fit Both a 2014 and 2015 Subaru Forester
Question:
I want to put this hitch on a 2014 Forester. Then I want to remove it and install it on a 2015 Forester. Is that possible or do I have to buy a new hitch for the 2015 Forester

Curt trailer hitch # C13144 will fit all models of the 2014 and 2015 Subaru Forester so you will be able to use it on both vehicles. The only other item you will need when you are ready to move it to the 2015 Forester is a new installation kit since the included hardware is meant to be used once.
For an additional hardware kit you will need # RHK. On the # RHK page enter the hitch number and choose the manufacturer and the correct kit will be assembled.
For trailer wiring, Curt harness # C56040 will fit both the 2014 and 2015 Forester.
To complete your towing set up I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It includes 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
