Parts Needed to Install a P2 Trailer Brake Controller on a 2013 Chevy Impala
Question:
Is there a under dash hook up where you can plug and play the P2 brake controller on a 2013 Chevy Impala? If not where is the best place to run your wires from the controller to the battery through the firewall.

The 2013 Chevy Impala and most other cars do not have tow package wiring so there is no wire bundle or plug in port under the dash to plug in a brake controller. It will be a hardwire installation.
The best place to run the wires from the controller to the battery would be at or near an existing harness that goes through the firewall. Ideally, you would run the wire without making any additional holes. But sometimes, there is no space at all to shove a wire through at an existing exit/entry point and you would have to drill a hole. Just be careful of what is on the other side!
Find some wiring and follow it. If you cannot easily access or see wires under the dash, try looking in the engine compartment and vice versa.
You will first need to install a 4-Way, # 118417. Then you will install the # ETBC7 that you referenced. I have included some links that show and explain the # ETBC7 installation.
