Hitch and Wiring Recommendation for a 2012 Toyota Sienna
Question:
Hi: I have 2012 Sienna. Can you tell me the difference between Curt C56106 trailer connector , and T_one 118498. Other than price, which one would you recommend, and the reason. Thanks again for your help.

Tow Ready wiring harness, # 118498, and Curt harness # C56106 are similar and install the same way. The main difference is how the insides of each converter box are designed. The Curt harness uses surface mount technology meaning that all the circuitry is installed by soldering electronic components directly to the surface of a printed circuit board. They say that SMT eliminates the need for leads, which are used in older through-hole technology. The expected result is a circuit board that is smaller yet provides more routing area and that offers superior performance, reliability and durability. Because of this I would go with this wiring harness.
The Tow Ready harness is more traditional. Both harnesses require a direct connection to the vehicle battery to power the trailer lights and protect the vehicle wiring. The Curt harnesses tend to dimly light LED trailer lights even when the tow vehicle is turned off (if the trailer is still connected).
I have linked instructions for both harnesses for you and a video showing isntallation of the Tow Ready harness.
The Draw Tite Hitch part # 75237 that you referenced would be an excellent choice for a hitch as well.
For a ball mount, hitch ball, and pin and clip, I would recommend the etrailer Ball Mount Kit, part # 989900. This is a kit which includes 2 ball mounts, a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, and a hitch pin and clip.
