Recommended Aluminum Wheels For Boat Trailer That Remain Attractive

Question:

I am looking for aluminum trailer wheels that will last and keep looking good with occasional salt water use. Do you offer an aluminum wheel with exceptionally good corrosion resistance that will stay looking good? Are stainless steel wheels available? Thank you

The wheels we offer depend on the size tires you are using and the wheel bolt pattern you have on your trailer. With proper care the aluminum wheel should provide you a great looking wheel for a long time.

If you have 14 inch tires and they have a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern I recommend the Castle Rock ST205/75R14 Radial Tire w/ 14" Condor Aluminum Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - LR C - Gunmetal # LH84VR. This wheel has a 3.19 inch pilot hole and is rated with a capacity of 2,040 lbs at 60 psi. The wheel is 5 inches wide.

We offer a galvanized steel wheel in that size, but we do not offer any stainless steel wheels. For the galvanized wheel you would order part # AM20354. This wheel has a 6 inch wide rim. The steel wheel would not hold up to salt water as well as the aluminum wheel I mentioned.

I have included links to some helpful articles about wheels and tires you can check out.
