I have a 1995 jeep Wrangler YJ need to be able to tow a 2200lb boat what hitch do I need?

The trailer hitch that I recommend for your 1995 Jeep Wrangler to tow a 2,200 lb boat is the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch, # 13657. This hitch has a towing capacity of 3,500 lbs and a tongue weight capacity of 350 lbs. We have installed this hitch on a 1996 Wrangler, so I attached the video for you to check out. The installation is very easy on this model.
To complete your towing package, I also recommend picking up a tail light wiring harness. The Curt T-Connector Wiring Harness, # C55356, is a plug-in style harness that does not require any cutting or splicing.
I also recommend picking up our etrailer.com Ball Mount Kit, # 989900, which includes two ball mounts with different rises and drops, two hitch balls, a pin and clip and a storage bag. I have attached links to each of the products below.
