Hello Mary, thanks for reaching out. The Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BLU52UR is indeed the correct fit for your 2024 Chevy Trailblazer LT. This is a new base plate model though, and as of today (6/19/24) we are expecting them to be available within the next 6-8 weeks.

If you need a tow bar to go with it, I recommend the etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar # e67ZR.

You will also need a Smart Diode Kit # RM26FR, and a battery disconnect # RM-766 to complete your wiring.

For a braking system I suggest the Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo # SM99251 since it is a one-and-done installation. This is also our must durable and reliable supplemental braking system.

You may also need a drop hitch such as part # BLU28XR.
