Most Economical Air Conditioner For 5th Wheel Trailer For Ducted System
Question:
I have a fifth wheel that has a Maytag. Air conditioner then evidently quit working today. And its adopted. So now I have to replace it. Oh, and it also runs off a remote control. Cause it used to be tied in. With the furnace, but the r v place rewired the furnace, so its on its own and no longer connected to the air conditioning. The fifth wheel is 36 foot, so Id like to know the best end. Most inexpensive or affordable. Because im on a fixed income due to disability air conditioner for my fifth wheel. I see you have suggested a brand to others that Ive never heard of so Im curious if this brand would work on my R. V bings ducted and run by a remote control, there is no thermostat. I look forward to hearing back from you. Thank you.

Hey Tami,
So you'll need a complete new AC system, and the most economical for a ducted AC in your 5th wheel trailer is going to be a 13,500 Btu unit from Advent, which is available in either white or black:
- White: Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System # ADV94FR
- Black: Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System # ADV44FR
The Advent is a solid unit that will do the job of keeping your trailer cool, and is easy to use with its wall-mounted thermostat so you don't have to keep track of a remote.
