Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For Carrying 2 Bikes Behind a 2009 Honda Fit Sport

Question:

I have a 2009 Honda Fit Sport and want to carry two bicycles. One of the bicycles is a woman’s bike and 40lbs. I’m not very handy. I’d like to find a nice value setup—last for awhile but not be super expensive. What do you recommend for a hitch and bike rack? And do I need anything else in addition to the hitch and bike rack to pull this off? Thank you!

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11064 is going to be the best value and is all you need to carry a bike rack behind your 2009 Honda Fit Sport. For a bike rack I recommend the Kuat Sherpa # SH12B. This is going to give you the best value in my opinion as you can also use it with other vehicles. It has a lightweight aluminum construction which means it is going to last and not corrode over time. It will also be very easy for you to install and remove since you are not going to always want to keep it on your vehicle. The wheel mount also means you will not need a separate Bar # Y02531 like other bike carriers will require with the woman's style frame.
