First, it may not be the bags that are leaking. You can use the old soapy water truck on the bags and air lines, valves, and so on to locate the leak. The most common cause of leaks in air bag systems is an air line that was not cut straight using a tube cutter such as # AL10530.

If you want to switch to a Timbren system I recommend # TDR1500DQ. They will fit 2 and 4 wheel drive models of the 2012 Ram 1500, crew and quad cabs. Or for regular cab models use # TDR1500DS. These springs will get progressively stiffer when a load is on them which is how they eliminate sag. These springs are rated for 6,000 pounds which is far more than the pin weight of your 5th wheel trailer so capacity is not an issue.

Once installed they require no maintenance and you will not have to worry about running air lines or adding air all the time. I have linked our informational article on Timbren springs for you.
