Replacing Flush-Mount Trailer Tail Lights
Question:
I am looking to replace tail lights on an older trailer - the existing lights fit within the frame and are a low profile variety. The internal dimensions of the frame are only 2 3/4 inches - so that is the maximum size that I can fit inside the frame. I would prefer to keep the lights the same, but it appears that almost all of the low profile lights on the market are 2 7/8 inches tall. Do you have any products that may fit within the frame? I dont really want to do the traditional side mount if I can help it.

The link provided will take you to our main page for trailer tail lights. You can use the filters at the left margin to narrow the results to those items that best match your original lights.
It sounds like your existing tail lights are the flush-mount type that are usually pressure-fit to a rubberized grommet that fits inside the trailer cut out.
It may be that exact drop-in replacements of the correct dimensions are no longer available. Depending on the age of the trailer (and how common its original lights were within the trailer industry) you may need to select an alternative design.
If you can provide a photo and measurements of the light unit I may be able to identify a close replacement.
