Recommended Trailer Hubs For The Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension # ASR2000S01
Question:
I currently have a old leaf spring suspension that had a near catastrophic failure. Ultimately the 4-on-4 13 wheel hub needs to be replaced. I recently picked up a used 2000 lb rated Timbren Axle less suspension spindle only. I have two options to either replaced the current hubs with the current wheels or upgrade the wheels to match my 07 Toyota FJ Cruiser. What part numbers do I need to replace the hubs on the the 134 - on 4 or a 17 6 on 5.5 wheel. ?

Hey David,
If you got a 2k Timbren Axle-Less Suspension with just the spindle then you most likely have the # ASR2000S01. This uses bearing # L44649 for both the inner and outer bearings and # 10-9 for the grease seal. For a compatible hub you could use the etrailer Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2K Axles # AKIHUB-440-2-EZ-2K for a 4 on 4 bolt pattern. There currently isn't a 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern available that's going to be compatible with the spindle. There is a 5 on 4.5 option available with part # AKIHUB-545-2-EZ-2K if you're still wanting to get away from the 4 on 4 bolt pattern.
