Front And Rear Trailer Hitch Options For A 2024 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 Passenger Van
Question:
I need a front and rear hitch for a 2024 sprinter passenger van 2500 170 high roof. We own a bike shop and just carry four bikes out front and four on the back. No towing needed. You have any solutions? Maybe part 75601 would work? We have the step bumper Thank you Brad Calistoga Bikeshop

Hello Brad, thanks for reaching out. The Draw-Tite # 75601 that you mentioned will fit a 2024 Sprinter 2500 with the 170" wheelbase. Please note that this hitch will not fit models with 30-3/8" wide frame when measured outside to outside. The frame width is the only real stipulation for fitment so please do measure and confirm this. As long as your frame is not 30-3/8" wide this hitch will be a great option for carrying a 4 bike rack on the rear of your van, It has a 500 lb tongue weight capacity which should be plenty.
As far as a front hitch, unfortunately none of our manufacturers make anything custom fit for a 2024 sprinter van. Since there are no custom fit hitches, the only option would be to take a universal weld on hitch like the Curt # 15902 to a shop and have them weld/fabricate something to fit.

Thank you for the reply. Do you know what the other frame width is that doesn't work? I just want to make sure how accurate I need to be in my measurement. Are we talking like a 34" width so it will be obvious? Or are we talking 30-7/8" or something similar? Seems like it would be something listed in the van VIN information, but maybe not. Thank you.
