Which Direction Do I Turn the Star Wheel to Adjust My Trailer Brakes?
Question:
Which direction do I turn the star gear on a brake assembly to loosen it. My brakes are locked up, fully expanded, I cannot disassemble the hub from the brake assembly.

Down! The adjustment star on brake assemblies, like the item # AKEBRK-35L-SA you were looking at, needs to turn counter-clockwise to expand the shoes so you'd need to click the star "up" to tighten the brakes or "down" to loosen them as you'd view them from the back of the assemblies.
