Will Draw-Tite Hitch part # 75162 Fit My 2009 Dodge Durango and What Wiring is Recommended
Question:
Will this hitch fit a 2009 Durango? Do you sell a bolt kit? What wiring kit do you recommend?

Expert Reply:
Draw-Tite hitch, part # 75162 will fit your 2009 Dodge Durango. All of our hitches include all the nuts and bolts and other hardware needed to install. However, you could use Curt Hitch, part # 13296. This hitch will be much easier to install, almost half the time, and you will not have to drill any holes, but you can see a bit more of the hitch since it has the cross tube. I will include links to an install video of the first hitch, and the instruction sheet for the Curt hitch. If minimizing the appearance of the hitch is a priority, I would go with the Draw-Tite.
For wiring, I would recommend the Tow Ready T-One harness, part # 118390. It is a standard 4-Way flat connector that will work with a majority of basic trailers. The installation is straight forward and thanks to the T connectors, it is pretty simple as well. We have a video of this part being installed on a 2008 Chrysler Aspen that I will link you to so you can see what is involved. Once you have a 4-Way on your vehicle, you can then adapt it to any other style of plug like a 7-Way, part # ETBC7, if you will be towing a large trailer equipped with brakes.
