Solution For Shocks on Trailer With 3,500 lb Square Axle
Question:
Can the Lippert Shock Kit work with a square 3500lb capacity axle?
asked by: Steve M
Expert Reply:
The Lippert # LC281255 will only work with round axles. For square axles I recommend the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs which mount on the leaf spring stack. If you have overslung axles (leaf springs on top of axle) you need # TSS-107-40 and for underslung # TSS-106-40. These will absorb road shock while also reducing sway and body roll.
