Troubleshooting Seized Up Lippert Stabilizer Jacks
Question:
Yes, I have two sets of the electric Lippert Stabilizer Jacks to put on my 2022 Jayco Jayflight back in 2023. Now with that said. I tried to put these on when I got them. But didn’t have the tools so I placed them in storage for a while and once I was able to get the stuff needed for this project I started again. So there is no power going to them because they are not installed yet. Unable to get power to the motor With a battery, I attempted the manual over ride. But the jacks would not budge. I have cleaned them up. Sprayed dry lubricant on them. But still no dice. What do I do. Are they bad. Is it possible to buy two of the same product and they both be bad. I’m so frustrated at this point and these are not cheap. Can you help? Thank you for your time any information will be greatly appreciated.

Hey Elizabeth, thanks for reaching out!
It sounds like you're talking about the Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack # LC298707. I wasn't able to locate an order from you with this email address so if you have something else please let me know.
Normally I would say to use the Manual Override Crank # LC119226 to determine if the jacks are bad or not, but if they've been in storage for a year and needed to be cleaned up then it leads me to believe you might need to keep trying to hit it with some lubricant and work at moving the jacks. If something got into the gears then they could be seized up which would be why you're seeing issues - it's highly unlikely (although not impossible) that you've just been really unlucky and received two bad jacks.
If you had just received them and were experiencing this then I would say you received bad products, but since they've been sitting for a while I think they are seized up and need to be loosened up.
