Can NOCO GEN On-Board Battery Charger Negative Cables Be Connected to Same Terminal
Question:
Can the three negative outputs be joined? Im replacing my onboard charger in my boat and am not able to route the negative leads to one of my three on-board batteries, due to the limited access to that battery. My present charger has one negative lead, that feeds the negative side of the batteries.

Hey Danny, thanks for reaching out!
It sounds like your battery bank is setup in a parallel series configuration (see attached) so you'll need to connect each negative wire to the negative post on each battery for the 3-Bank NOCO GEN On-Board Battery Charger # NOC94FR to avoid errors with the operation of this charger. I confirmed this with my contact at NOCO, and it is the same case for all other chargers that connect to individual batteries in a bank.
If you have a different battery bank setup please let me know and I'll be more than happy to let you know if this can be used the way you're wanting to use it!

Thanks for the reply Jon, I see that's pretty much the case from other manufacturers also. I'll have to find a unit that has a linked ground.
