Where Does Reverse Light Circuit Go on 4-Way to 7-Way Adapter
Question:
I have a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L that I have installed a 4 pin wiring harness and want to use the 4-7 pin upgrade. Where do I attach the yellow wire to for the reverse lockout ability. In prior vehicles I have tied into the reverse wire in the tail lights, but I cant find one with these LED lights now.

Hey Steven, you will still need to track down the reverse light circuit on your vehicle for the reverse light circuit of the 7-way adapter like the part # 37185. It can be harder to find on newer vehicles but you would need to use a circuit tester like the part # PTW2993 to test the wiring bundle that runs to the taillights till you find the one that only has voltage when in reverse.
