Can 69" Solera Awning Arms Replace 93" Awning Arms

Question:

I have a 2004 keystone everest, manual awning. Wanting to switch to a power awning. I see the solera smart arm product has my interest. The arm is 69 inches The arm on the camper now is 93 inches Will this still work, or is there a different option? Also have plans to put up a solera family room that attaches to the awning. Any suggestions and or questions Is welcome Thanks Richie RPM Truck and Trailer

Hi Richard,

The arm length just dictates how far out the the awning can extend away from the trailer so you can still go with with smaller arms, you'll just likely have to fill in the old bolt holes from the previous arms. The Solera Smart Arm Electric RV Awning Conversion Kit # LC759405 is going to extend out 8' from the trailer. For the installation you'll want to pick up some butyl tape # AL28FJ and non-sag sealant # 344270341437-1 in order to prevent any water leaks.
