Parts Needed to Install a 7-way on a 2012 Nissan Xterra
Question:
I have a 2012 Nissan Xterra Pro4X. I have added an after-market bumer with a built-in tow hitch receiver. I have never added any sort of tow wiring harness to the vehicle. And, lastly, both our horse trailer and our camper trailer are 7 pin. Is this part 118266 everything I need to connect to my vehicle, install the 7 pin connector, etc? Thanks!

The only other thing you might be interested in would be a mounting bracket for the 7-way like part # PK12711U to complete the install of a 7-way Harness Part # 118266 on your 2012 Nissan Xterra. Other than that the # 118266 is everything you would need.
If you haven't picked out a brake controller yet I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is the best selling controller out there because of how well it works and how easy it is to install. You would only need the additional adapter wire part # 3050-P to simply plug the controller into the port under the dash of your vehicle. I attached an install video that details the installation of these product also.
