Recommended Replacement Leaf Springs for a 2007 Karavan Boat Trailer

Question:

Hello, I have a 2007 Karavan boat trailer and I think I need to replace the leaf springs because it looks like the trailer rides too low. The VIN number indicates a 3000 lbs GVW 5KTBS191X7F189780 does that means that I would need 2 1500 lbs leaf springs or do I search for 3000 lbs leaf springs? The leaf springs are 3 leaf open eye slippers with two u bolts securing it to the axle. Unfortunately the label on the axle is not legible so I dont know the model number and the weight capacity is from the MD title. The distance between the tow bolts is 26 2/8 from open eye bolt to center 13 ½inch from bolt to center 13 2/8 and following the curve of the leaf spring from underneath since axe is still connected 29inch approximate Can you help? Thank you

Hey Jacques, so based off of those measurements it looks like the etrailer Rust-Resistant 4-Leaf Slipper Spring for 4,300-lb Trailer Axles # e33SR is going to work best for you.

This spring measures 26 1/4" (same as 2/8) long from spring eye to end of spring, 13 1/8" from eye bolt to center of the spring, and has a capacity of 2,150 lbs.

I've also gone ahead and attached the entire diagram of this spring with measurements for you to check as well.
