Troubleshooting No Reverse Lights on 2003 Dodge Dakota
Question:
I bought the 4pole trailer connector and everything works great except the reverse lights. A customer of mine told me that I need to run another wire for the reverse lights,do you have any info or parts for this? Thank you

I haven't, Steve. All of the trailer wiring for a 2003 Dakota like # 118329 is plug and play so there wouldn't be a need to physically run another wire.
I did some research though, and the only other thing I could find was that If a trailer has more than 1 taillight per side then you'd need to use a ModuLite® or dealer supplied harness, per Dodge.
Since you're not getting reverse lights, I'd recommend checking the fuse box first to see if there may have been a fuse blown. If there has been, then that's the issue but you'll want to do some checking around to see why the fuse was blown in the first place.
It's also worth mentioning that a 4 pole won't have reverse lights. You'd need to use a 5 pole or a 7 way to get the reverse lights.
