Trunk Mount Bike Rack for 3 Bikes on a 2012 Toyota Highlander

Will the Thule Passage 3 bike carrier trunk mount work on a 2012 Toyota Highlander?

We do have trunk mount bike racks that will fit the 2012 Toyota Highlander but the Thule Passage # TH911XT, will not fit. For a 3-bike trunk mount rack that will fit use the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top rack # HRF2-3.

This rack has an additional upper arm piece that moves the top straps up and over any rear mounted spoilers at the top of the hatch of the SUV so no weight is put on it and no damage will occur to that spoiler.

If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical mens bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have to use these adapters and without them my wifes bike would be at a severe angle and I would not be able to load my sons bike at all. I linked a video showing how the adapter works.
