how much slack in the jaws of a curt 15000 pound hitch is to much ? Can you rebuild the jaws on that hitch thanks

Typically you should have almost no play in the jaws of a 5th wheel hitch. If you are seeing more than 1/8" of play you will want to look at replacing the Hitch Head # C16515 as the only parts you can typically replace is the handle. If you can verify the model number of your hitch I can see what the correct replacement head will be.
