There are a few things that are going to affect installation time of a brake controller on your 2014 Chrysler Town and Country. If the van already has a 4-Way connector, that will trim down the time a little. Depending on how you want to route the wiring will affect the overall installation time as well. I would say for a novice maybe 3 hours as an educated guesstimate.

To install a brake controller on your van you will first need to have a 4-Way trailer connector, # C56331, if the van does not already have one. Then you would plug it into the 4 and 7-Way installation kit, # ETBC7. This kit includes the 7-Way, retains the 4-Way, and has the wiring and accessories needed to finish the installation. I have included some links that show and explain the # ETBC7 installation.

Then you will just need the brake controller. If using Curt controller # C24VV, you will also need wiring harness # C51515.
