How Long Should the Chrome on a B&W Tow and Stow Hitch Ball Last
Question:
i just bought your Tow and Stow hitch and have used it once, and the chrome is coming off the 2 5/16 ball already. it wasnt to much weigh around 5k. is this normal? i wouldnt thinks so for a $240.00 hitch. i own you turnover gooseneck and companion 5th wheel hitch and they are great. i have pictures if needed

It's hard to say, Roger. I can't agree that after only one use the chrome coming off is normal, though. These hitches usually have a good track record of being made from quality materials so it may just be a bad batch of coating that you got unlucky with.
If you'd like you can replace the hitch ball # BWTS10052 or you can try reaching out to B&W and see if that's something that could be warrantied.
