How to Install 4-Way Wiring on 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV
Question:
Hi: I need some instruction on how to get to the taillight wiring for a 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV and where to connect the power source. Any help with how to remove the trunk panels and connecting to the rear battery would be extremely helpful. Thank you for your time.

I have attached the instructions below which explain how to remove the panels to install the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56434. If there are differences in the panels with the PHEV that is unfortunately not information we have available. Since you do have a PHEV model that battery in the rear should be a 12V auxiliary battery. Assuming that is correct you can run the black wire to this battery instead of running it to the engine.
