What is the Widest Keel Roller for a Boat Trailer

Question:

I need to replace the keep roller and the roller on my boat trailer. I have a 22 foot Pathfinder. This is a fiberglass hull and is a bay boat. I live in St. Petersburg, FL and use my trailer in saltwater. So I am hoping to get some recommendations on a replacement keel roller and roller for my boat trailer. The old one on my boat that rusted up is similair to he etrailer Item # CE10405G. I also have some questions. Is 12 inches the widest roller for the keel roller for the trailer? I also need new U-bolts to attach the bracket to the trailer and not sure if you sell them. So you also sell the u-bolts. Since I use my trailer in saltwater I would like to see what you have for sale that can handle saltwater use.

Thanks for reaching out, Michael!

The widest roller we have is the 18" Long Yates Keel Roller for Boat Trailers # YR18244-165EC which installs on a trailer using the CE Smith Universal-Fit Split Panel Brackets # CE10500G, the 19" Roller Shaft w/Cap Nuts # 107-30A, and either bolting into the trailer frame or around it with U-Bolts. Since I'm not sure what the size of your frame is I've gone ahead and added a link to our U-Bolt kit selection for you to filter through, but I'd be more than happy to make a recommendation if you can let me know your frame size.

We have a few stainless steel hardware options which are best against salt water, but most everything we have s coated with a galvanized coat. This does okay against salt water but you'll definitely need to rinse it off with fresh water after you use it.
