What etrailer Trailer Hitch Fits 2024 Honda CR-V

Question:

Hi team, I had the E-Trailer e98838 on my Subaru Crosstrek loved it!, but I totaled that vehicle. I now have a 2024 Honda CRV and am checking the compatibility between the two products. I see that the e98848 is listed as an option for the 24 CRV, but want to make sure the e98838 would also work. Can you please confirm that for me? If it would indeed work, Id need to get a new set of installation hardware nuts, bolts, etc. Where on the site could I find that hardware for purchase? Thanks in advance for your help! Logan

Hi Logan; sorry to hear about your Crosstrek, and while we do have a hitch for your 2024 Honda CR-V, the e98838 is not a fit. That hitch is only a fit for the Crosstreks, so what you need for your '24 CR-V is the other part number you mentioned:

- etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98848

The two vehicles have different frame widths and bumper configurations, which is why the hitch for your Crosstrek is not a fit for your CR-V.

Thanks Kyle. That being the case, I am going to sell my old hitch and buy a new one. Can people buy replacement hardware from you on the website? If so, can you please send me a link for it?

@Logan They sure can with the Replacement Hardware Kit for Trailer Hitches # RHK. All you need to do is enter the part number in the "Hitch Item Number" box on that page.
