Sway Control Bracket For A 2-1/2" Hitch And Other Potential Sway Control Options

Hello, Is there a sway control bracket available for a 2.5 hitch with a 2 5/16 ball head? Something similar to your Item # RP26003 Thank you Jason

Hey Jason, so unfortunately we do not carry a sway control bracket that is made for a 2-1/2" hitch. For that the only option would be to use a Weld-On Sway Control Tab # C45822 and have one attached to your current ball mount.
I wanted to add that generally for larger trucks with 2-1/2" hitches we would recommend using a weight distribution hitch to help control and eliminate sway. The friction sway bars can work well, but they do become less effective on larger heavier trailers. I am not sure exactly what kind of weight you are hauling, but if you are having sway issues, I strongly encourage you to consider a weight distribution hitch. If you can tell me the approximate tongue weight of your trailer, I am happy to make a recommendation. There will be lots of options for a 2-1/2" hitch.
