Should Vehicle Undercoating Be Scraped Off For Hitch Installation
Question:
Should I scrape off any sprayed on undercoating from the factory that is on the frame, before installing my trailer hitch? Thanks.

Not unless it is called for in the instructions. There are a handful of vehicles where it comes with a thick coating that won't allow you to get the hitch on correctly but in most cases you do not want to scrape that off.
