Is Triple Lip Seal For 3,500 lb Axle Better Than Double Lip
Question:
Hi, Prior Customer, researching bearing seals for spring prep... My Seal is RG06-050.... I am seeing advertising for a Triple lip seal for this application, would this be better than a double with the spring? I can not see if the triple has a spring, use ezlube axle and grease seems to get by sometimes... do you sell a triple seal for my application. Thank you

Expert Reply:
Triple-lip grease seals have been around for a while, and you're not going to notice a benefit with them over the double-lipped Grease Seals # RG06-050.
We do not have triple lip seals, and they're honestly just not necessary.
